Ricardo Vasquez, who fired a gun into a partying crowd celebrating the Denver Nuggets' 2023 NBA championship, has been sentenced to 35 years in prison for attempted first-degree murder, the Denver DA said. The shooting at 20th and Market streets in Lodo wounded several people on June 20, 2023. Vasquez will also serve an eight-year concurrent sentence for intent to distribute a controlled substance. He pleaded guilty in January.
