POLICE TAKE DOWN HUMBOLDT ST. GUNMAN

Denver police fatally shot a man brandishing a revolver Thursday in the 3500-block of Humboldt Street, Police Chief Ron Thomas said. There was no indication the man, described as a transient, fired his gun, Thomas said. The man was shot by several officers who had ordered him to drop it.
