MORE BARK THAN BITE? DON'T COUNT ON IT!

It's National Dog Bite Prevention Week - and the Denver Animal Shelter cautions: "
When approaching an unfamiliar dog, always ask its owner before interacting with the dog. Recognizing body language and warning signs is crucial to preventing a bite. Dogs use various body postures and signals to communicate feelings such as fear, aggression, stress or playfulness."
