A proposal by the superintendent of Denver's public schools could slow the pace of school closures and consolidations to a minimum of every three years.
"This
period includes two consecutive years to implement the approved recommendation and one year
for review," a draft says.
"However, a new recommendation may be presented if there is a significant change in enrollment
or funding, or an unforeseen emergency."
The plan is subject to review by the city school board.
