Photo: Denver Police Department
Wielding only his patrol car's fire extinguisher, a Denver police officer stopped flames lapping near a burning RV's propane tank before fire crews arrived. Concerned about a potential propane blast, Officer Chavez "sprang into action" when he came upon the March 4 blaze in the 200-block of West Warner Place, police said. A person was living in the RV.
