CLUCKING GOOD NEWS FOR EGG LOVERS

It's OK to raise chickens in Denver. Food-producing animal permits are available for $25 - and good for a lifetime for the resident of the registered address. The city allows ownership of as many as eight hens or ducks, according to the health department. Roosters, however, aren't permitted due in part of their "Cook-a-Doodle-Doo!"
